ResumeHack stores your email address, a secure password hash, sign-in sessions, purchased packs and saved practice. Stripe processes payments; ResumeHack does not receive your full card number. Hostinger sends account and pack emails from admin@resumehack.org. These emails link to your private workspace; they do not contain interview recordings or transcripts.
Your purchased interview pack works in your browser, through a phone call we place to you, or when you call 1-888-446-6002. Each option uses the same company, role, interview stages and private feedback. You agree on the website to AI practice, recording and transcription before starting a session.
If we call you, we first verify that you control the destination number. The interviewer checks that the expected person answered and asks for continued agreement before the questions begin. When you call 1-888-446-6002, you instead say the private, short-lived access code from your signed-in interview page. That code opens the reserved interview; keep it private. The interviewer checks your continued agreement after the code is accepted.
Audio is recorded and transcribed from connection, including the opening disclosure and, for calls you make to 1-888-446-6002, the spoken code. This temporary processing begins before the verbal confirmation. You can refuse, withdraw agreement or end the call.
For calls you make to 1-888-446-6002, the provider uses temporary audio and transcript artifacts. We save the interview only after the server confirms access to your paid session and your continued consent. The private recording and transcript are trimmed to begin after that consent confirmation, so they exclude the opening and the spoken code. Calls without accepted access and consent do not create an interview report or saved customer recording. Basic operational call information may remain with the provider.
Retell processes the live interview, audio and transcription using its Grace voice and GPT-5.4 interview model. Anthropic's API processes the transcript and relevant practice rubric to produce detailed feedback. We store the resulting report and transcript in your private ResumeHack workspace. Provide only the experience you want to practise discussing; avoid sensitive personal or customer information.
Recordings are available privately for 30 days after each call, then deleted from our recording storage. Browser interviews and calls we place to you use a seven-day provider retention setting; successful private recording copies also queue earlier provider deletion. Calls you make to 1-888-446-6002 use temporary provider artifacts and basic call attributes, as described above. Your private transcript, report and saved practice remain until you delete them. Private recovery backups rotate out within 14 days. You can delete an interview's recording, transcript and report from its page; deletion also queues removal of its provider call data. Provider removal is processed in the background.
Later interviews use earlier reports. Deleting that history can stop the remaining personalised stages. The page explains this before deletion; contact us to reset the remaining preparation or request a refund. You can request account deletion by emailing admin@resumehack.org from your account address. Payment and refund records may need to be retained to administer the transaction.
The separate five-call promotional demo requires adult, recording and promotional-use permission on its reservation form. We verify control of your phone before accepting an inbound demo call. Recording and transcription begin at connection; the AI interviewer asks for your continued agreement before practice questions. The demo is free in exchange for permission to use edited voice and answer excerpts on our website, social media and advertisements for 12 months. Clips must be labeled as a free demo and must not imply an endorsement. Names and phone numbers are not published. Purchasing a normal interview pack does not grant this permission.
Demo call content is stored privately for up to 90 days, with seven-day provider retention. The reservation stores your phone number, selected role, optional background and versioned consent receipt. A private receipt link and essential cookie let you return and withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops future promotional use, removes our stored demo content and queues provider deletion; copies already shared by others may remain. You can also contact admin@resumehack.org. Demo recordings are reviewed privately before any publication; permission does not guarantee a clip will be used. Promotional demo participants receive brief spoken coaching, not the full paid report.
Sign-in cookies keep you securely connected. We host Umami analytics on our own server to understand visits, campaign links and the steps into checkout. We measure public pages and the catalog and checkout screens, plus a small set of actions such as playing the sample or selecting a role. Account pages, recordings, transcripts, practice answers, passwords and email addresses are excluded from analytics. IP addresses are used transiently for approximate location and rotating anonymous visitor counts; raw addresses are not stored in Umami. We use a signed first-party attribution cookie for up to 30 days to connect the first and most recent campaign with a purchase. We retain campaign labels with payment records and use verified payment and refund totals for reporting. Visitor estimates are not a count of identifiable people. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and the browser opt-out below stop optional measurement. Blocking analytics does not prevent a purchase. We do not send your practice answers to employers.
