“Describe a time you organized work to reduce mistakes.”

While organizing supplies for a club, I found similar-looking boxes stored together with faded labels. I separated the items, checked the packing list and asked the organizer about the boxes I could not identify. I labeled the shelves and kept uncertain items aside until we verified them. When another volunteer arrived, I explained the layout and showed the unresolved items rather than letting them assume everything was ready. The next count matched the list for the items we had verified. I did not claim that all missing stock had been recovered. The useful habit was making uncertainty visible and creating an arrangement someone else could understand.
